Assure America Corp. Expands Team, Adds Location

As part of its ongoing mission to protect clients from the financial consequences of an accidental loss, Assure America Corp.  has opened a new office location in Pittsburgh.

The company’s newest office is at 651 Holiday Drive, which is located in Foster Plaza off the Greentree Road exit.

The company has expanded its team to include the following professionals:

Shannon Dickerson has joined Assure America as Executive Director for Sales and Marketing. Dickerson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication and rhetoric from the University of Pittsburgh, and a Master of Arts in communication and rhetoric studies from the University of Colorado. She has worked as a metro manager and strategic analyst for Media Star Promotions, where she received several awards and accolades for exemplifying leadership and outstanding achievement in overall managerial responsibilities.

Renee Contumelio has filled the role of Executive Assistant for Sales and Public Relations. Contumelio is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in professional writing. She has worked as a writer for the media and public relations industries for two decades. Most recently, she served as a Digital Content Producer for WPXI-TV. Previously, while overseeing WTOV9.com and WJACTV.com, the sites won numerous first-place Associated Press awards.

Furthermore, Jessica Francis of Assure America Corp. has earned the professional designation of associate in personal insurance from the Insurance Institute of America. Recipients of the API designation demonstrate in-depth personal property and liability insurance knowledge with a focus on personal lines business, according to officials.

Francis earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration with a specialization in accounting from West Liberty University. She holds a property and casualty insurance license. Francis joined Assure America in 2012 and has been promoted to executive agent-personal lines.

Anthony Clements, who serves as executive agent for operations management, has obtained his license for life and health insurance in Ohio, West Virginia and Pennsylvania.

Clements holds a master’s degree in business administration from Franciscan University of Steubenville. He has been with Assure America for three years.
